In other threads, which I can't seem to locate at the moment, I've seen pics of what look just like my plant labeled either split leaf philo or monstera - indicating a difference. Split-leaf philodendron doesn't do well with direct sunlight all day, but it does need partial sun, with shade at midday in warm climates.
